A Place for Experiments
Unlike our regular collections, the watches found in The Playground have not been created to order.
Each one was created as part of Vitreum's ongoing journey of experimentation. Some explored new colours. Others tested new techniques or artistic ideas.
By the time they were completed, they simply did not fit into the collection or release plans we had at the time. Rather than forcing them into a launch that did not feel right, we chose to keep them in the workshop and wait until we could present them in a way that reflected what they truly were.
The Playground is that place.
Because these watches have already been completed, they are ready to leave the workshop immediately.
Their availability has no impact on the production of our made to order collections.
At the same time, The Playground offers a glimpse into the future of Vitreum. It reflects a direction we have wanted to explore for some time, with more immediate availability, more experimentation, and more opportunities to discover one of a kind creations along the way.
