Crafted with meticulous precision and inspired by the timeless beauty of grand feu enameling, the FH01 Arctic Blue embodies the essence of traditional craftsmanship and artistic innovation.
Sophisticated simplicity
With a design that seamlessly blends simplicity and historical reverence, the Arctic Blue timepiece offers a timeless aesthetic that transcends fleeting trends. It is a testament to Vitreum's commitment to honoring tradition while embracing innovation
Inspired by history
Amidst this simplicity lies a subtle yet profound homage to history—the Haukbók numerals. Inspired by the numerals found in the 1310 book "Haukbók" by Icelandic Lawman Haukr Erlendsson, these timeless symbols represent a bridge between the past and the present. Each pad-printed numeral embodies centuries of tradition and craftsmanship, serving as a reminder of the enduring legacy of horological artistry.
Crafted by artisans
Each Arctic Blue dial is meticulously handcrafted using the intricate grand feu enameling technique, a process that involves applying layers of powdered glass onto a sterling silver surface. Through multiple high-temperature firings, reaching around 800 to 900 degrees Celsius, the enamel fuses with the metal substrate, resulting in a smooth and resilient surface that is both durable and lustrous.
Into the deep blue
This painstaking process not only ensures the vibrant intensity of the deep blue enamel dial but also allows for the creation of intricate textures and patterns reminiscent of frozen landscapes. From the rich color depth to the delicate hand-engraved details, each Arctic Blue timepiece is a testament to the exceptional skill and craftsmanship of our artisans
